KIBITZ The Room →

The channel a crowd writes, live.

Kibitz is one live television channel a whole room writes in real time. You suggest what happens next, the room steers, and AI generates the scene on screen. Here's what we're really doing — and why.

What is Kibitz?

Kibitz is a single live channel that a crowd writes in real time. You suggest what happens next, the room votes to steer the story, and AI generates the scene on screen instantly.

It's not a show you watch — it's one you write together. Traditional TV is finished before you ever see it. Kibitz flips that: the audience is the writers' room. Anyone can pitch the next beat — a twist, a line of dialogue, a hard cut to a new location — and the moment the room rallies behind an idea, it becomes the next scene.

One engine serves every screen: web, smart-TV apps, and mobile — or use your phone as a companion to react and steer while the show plays on the big screen.

How it works

Kibitz turns a passive broadcast into a live writers' room. Here's the loop, over and over, in real time:

  • 01 · SUGGEST
    Pitch what happens next
Anyone watching drops an idea — a plot twist, a line of dialogue, a cut to a new place. The strongest ideas rise to the top.
  • 02 · STEER
    The room votes live
The crowd reacts in real time. Momentum — not a single loud voice — decides which suggestion takes the wheel for the next beat.
  • 03 · GENERATE
    AI airs the scene
The winning cue is generated on screen instantly. Then the next moment is already up for grabs, and the loop repeats.
How influence works

Your sway isn't about who comments most. Contributions are weighted by idea quality, live audience response, and your track record as a contributor — so the channel learns to trust its best storytellers and the experience stays sharp instead of chaotic.

Influence is earned, never bought. Show up with good ideas and the room learns to trust you — so the best storytelling wins, not just the loudest.

Why now

Real-time generative video has only just become possible, connected-TV viewing is overtaking traditional television, and audiences increasingly want to participate rather than passively watch. Kibitz sits exactly at that intersection — live, generative, and crowd-steered.

And it scales like software: one high-end AI render serves the whole channel's audience — not one render per viewer. The same engine extends naturally to AI-generated podcasts and radio, steered by listener feedback.

The Cue

That glowing orb is real, and it's reading the room right now. Its colour is the genre of the story being told — and the room can bend it. Push the story somewhere new and it turns colour before the picture does. It always turns first. Ask yourself why.

Who's "we"

A very small operation with a very large idea, building in the open at kibitz.tv, operated by CUETV LLC. The films you'll see — IN DEVELOPMENT, THE NOTE, AGED OUT — are the authored prologue. The finale hands you the pen. After that, the channel is yours.
